Gina M. Rossi concentrates her area of practice in general negligence, premises liability, insurance fraud and coverage. Prior to joining Johnson & Bell, Ltd., Ms. Rossi worked for the Chicago Transit Authority as an associate attorney in its Tort Litigation department. Ms. Rossi has experience in all phases of trial litigation and has successfully tried, as first chair, bench and jury trials to verdict. She also has considerable experience representing clients at arbitration.

While attending law school, she was a judicial extern with the Honorable Robert W. Gettlemen of the United States District Court and Justice Margaret O'Mara Fossard of the Illinois Appellate Court First District.

Ms. Rossi is a member of the Chicago, Illinois State and American Bar Associations. She was recently elected to the ISBA Assembly and is active in the ISBA Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Rossi is also a member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers where she is a member of the Fund Raising Committee and a contributing writer for the Justinian Newsletter.

Ms. Rossi has been honored as a 2012 Illinois Super Lawyer Rising Star.  The honor is awarded by fellow lawyers who are asked to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.  Lawyers are instructed to nominate attorneys they have personally observed in action — whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other firsthand courtroom observation.
